Broadcasting major at Mississippi State University in Starkville, Miss. I was a music major for four years, but decided I would rather keep music as a hobby instead of making it a profession. My long term goal is to eventually make a video and photo documentary of the American West by riding the rails though the mountains and along the coast. Until then, I plan on getting involved in filing and editing music videos for local or upcoming artists.
Some background about me. I have been helping crew and fly hot air balloons since I was 2-years-old. I plan on earning my pilot's license and possibly making an entire documentary seen from a wicker basket while slowly floating across the county side.
I marched with the Memphis Sound Drum and Bugle Corps for three seasons ('04, '05 and '07), was a member of the Famous Maroon Band and played lead pan for the Holmes Community College Steel Band.

Outstanding day so far. Except for the loss in basketball. But let's not get into that.
One of my best friends has pretty much moved to Starkville. We have a lot of things in common when it comes to music and games and just interests in general. He was my roommate my first year of college, and yet, he is still the best one I have ever had.
Played some Modern Warfare 2 tonight. Been awhile since I have played it. Forgot how much I love that game.
Now I want to say how thankful I am for all my friends. I have made so many good ones since moving here to Starkville. I don't remember ever having friends that wanted to hang out with me everyday,

And like I promised, here I am updating this thing at night.
Boring, boring, boring day. Except for one class. We watched South Park.
Got home and passed out a few times. Finally got to see an old friend and talk to her for a little bit. Would be nice if she could come visit.
I am really starting to think that changing over to Broadcasting was the BEST choice I have ever made. It seems like every time I talk to professors or upperclassmen, they come across as being impressed (?) by my character. They all say I will do great. Ok, this has to stop. I must update this thing at night before passing out. For now though, I will do it in the Union while waiting until my first class at noon.
Yesterday proved to be uneventful. Still waiting on my new stereo system to ship. I think Wal-Mart hates me. They take forever to ship. They never have frisbees because they are not "in season" and they put everything in weird places.
Last night though, was pretty scary. I almost died in my sleep. Every now and then, something happens. It's like I vomit in my sleep, but it stays in my throat. I woke up unable to breathe. Choking with nobody else home is one of the scariest things.
